The Augustana PRISM Alliance provided support to Augustana College students of all sexualities and genders. The group also worked to educate the campus community about issues faced by the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community. The Augustana PRISM Alliance records, 2004-2009 and undated, consists of one faculty advisor's binder with the group's constitution, meeting minutes, financial records, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and ephemera.

Olof Zakarias Cervin graduated from Augustana College in 1887 and went on to study architecture at Columbia University. After working as an architect in various cities, Olof returned to Rock Island and established his own architecture firm on 1 April 1896. Cervin designed several buildings in Rock Island, Moline, and East Moline, Illinois, including schools, churches, and factories. While in college, Johnson was active in the Rho Nu Delta fraternity, the Augustana choir, and was a reporter for the Observer, the college newspaper.
